National ID card for all Indian coming soon...

Nandan Nilekani - co founder of Infosys has been given responsibilty to give Biometric National ID card to 1.2billion of mammoth population...


all IDs will be stored in Data centre...

ID card will feature personal information along with fingerprints,iris scan etc...

Unique Identification Authority has been setup under Nandan Nilekani...

it will take atleast 18 month to issue 1st card...

all information will be available online too...

this card will bring driving license,voter card,PAN card,ration card anf many of this kind together in one horizon...

thus simplifying work...

hoping to eradicate corruption etc....
