HTC Touch family
Taiwan-based HTC has announced three new iPhone rivals. The three touchscreen handsets target different sections of the market. The Touch 3G is aimed at business customers, Touch HD at the high-end media user and Touch Viva at the budget consumers.
All three phones come with Windows Mobile 6.1 and full touchscreen interfaces. HTC Touch 3G includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, and comes in four colours. It also comes with TouchFLO technology.
HTC Touch HD is a multimedia phone, with a 3.8-inch TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen with 480 x 800 WVGA and GPS/A-GPS ability. It also comes with HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Touch Viva has a 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and microSD slot.
With a touch-sensitive 2.8-inch QVGP display, Touch Viva additionally sports limited EDGE data speeds.
