Indian auto makers go green

Call it environmental concern, or market strategy to get people lie hands on fuel efficient cars, Indian automakers are in no mood to leave behind any customers.
Earlier last month Tata showcased its Indica EV - electric version of strong entry level car by company.
Followed by Mahindra launching MicroHybrid version Scorpio, and Bolero, largest selling SUV in India. It also announced that its fully hybrid version will be in market in 2 years.
MicroHybrid Scorpio has typical sensors, electrical instruments developed by Bosch which stops engine when car is standing still for morethan 10 seconds, engine starts again when accelerator is pushed. This may help increase fuel efficiency and lower carbon emittance.this will be of great use for city roamers where we have to wait long hours in traffic hauls.
Will this make indian automakers poineers in technology????????
